Grandma is based on the Happyland figure and was produced as a costume character in 2012 for Early Learning Centre and Mothercare to help promote the toy brand aimed at toddlers and young children. Grandma is your typical lovable and cuddly grandmother, her body, clothes and hat are made from fleece and she has vinyl shoes and velour hair.
She has a pink hat with a yellow band, which sits upon her tightly-permed yellow hair; she has pale blue triangular-shaped spectacles and has white pearl earrings.
Grandma wears a purple fleece dress with an orange cape with a scalloped edge over her shoulders; this has a yellow and pink flower on the front. She has bright red vinyl shoes with a couple of yellow spots featured on the outer edge.
